Eight pages long, with four pages arranged in a centerfold spread. Publisher Steve Hurlburt intrroduces the magazine in a column entitled "in ten' shənz." Tony Paris interviews legendary bassist Jack Bruce and spolights Danny Beard, founder of the influential record label DB Recs. This issue also features a jazz column by Mitchell Feldman and Gary Held's reporting on notable releases not available in the USA. Rounding out the issue are critical reviews of albums by Elvis Costello, The Brains, Glenn Phillips Band and The Clash.
